This is an updated version of a post from December 15, 2009.
It was with a certain amount of trepidation and a great deal of anticipation that Wise Math and the Inkognegro brought The Black Odd Couple. It was intended to be The show your mother would warn you about if she was on the Internet.
If you are of a certain age, you may remember the Odd Couple, starring Quincy and, the lil Jewish guy who decided that 75 was a really good time to get married and knock out two babies.
If you’re of a certain pigment, you may remember the NEW (read Black) Odd Couple with the Big Dummy and the Black Guy from Barney Miller.
This had nothing to do with any of that…
#TBOC became an Internet Talk Show that will aired weekly starting Monday January 11, 2010 (it was 011110 For those of you who get off on such things) at 10PM Eastern.
The Black Odd Couple is a collaboration between two gifted Brothers who share a few things and don’t share many others.
We aren’t Different for the sake of being different. We’re different because we’re different.
This is not a game or a shtick where Wise and I sit around and try and find ways to be different for the purpose of entertainment.
We are as different as two brothers can be and still be on the same page.
After Two years and almost TWO FULL DAYS of content, We have hit our stride. After Listening to the last two episodes…Wise and I are ready to Spread the word of The Black Odd Couple.
You can find our archives from all three seasons of TBOC here and you can follow both Wise and Me at @inkognegro and @Wisemath
